HARDI becomes part of EXEL Industries
The two biggest sprayer specialists in the world make a unique match and will be the world’s largest player within spraying application.
It has today been announced that Auriga Industries A/S has sold HARDI INTERNATIONAL A/S to EXEL Industries with closing date on November 30, 2007.
Historical acquisition
With the acquisition of HARDI, EXEL is almost doubling its size within plant protection,
and the Group will after the acquisition have a turnover of EUR 440 million.
EXEL Industries is a French Group with a turnover of today EUR 300 million and is a leading supplier of spraying technology for plant protection, gardening and industrial applications (painting and surface finishing). Today the Group employs more than 1,750 employees and has subsidiaries in 16 countries.
HARDI INTERNATIONAL A/S is a global sprayer specialist on the agricultural market and has a turnover of approx. EUR 135 million.
HARDI employs approx. 1000 employees and has subsidiaries in 9 countries.
HARDI stays as an independent brand
HARDI will be integrated in EXEL Industries as an independent company with full respect for the company’s autonomy, brands, product range, distribution network, existing manufacturing facilities, company culture and teams. It is the intention of the EXEL Industries that the management and the employees of HARDI will continue under the new ownership.
Stronger global profile
HARDI’s global position will be further strengthened by joining the EXEL Group at the strategic level. It will open even more possibilities to follow the professional customers and develop the spraying technology of the future.
